About Us

South Arcot Heritage and Historical Research Center The region of South Arcot (Thennaarkadu) is a land rich in ancient archaeological and historical elements. It encompasses the present-day districts of Villupuram, Cuddalore, and Kallakurichi, while the territory of Puducherry also shares deep cultural and historical ties with this region. With the aim of documenting its history and heritage, the South Arcot Historical and Heritage Research Center was established. This center provides a platform for historians, epigraphists, and archaeologists to record their research findings and document the archaeological information they wish to share.
